Mama`s in Alberta Beach

The Fish and Chips was awesome. Substituted onion rings for fries and they were perfect....just like the fish. Both were crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. Being from "the states", we were extremely impressed with everything including the very friendly service. Cheryle and her cohorts could not have been nicer or more efficient.

Great diner, very hot food!

After having the restaurant recommended to us, we decided to try it out. It was everything that was recommended plus some. The decor is rather plain but gives the feeling of an older, small town restaurant, which it lives up to. Food is down to earth, well cooked and the portions are ‘way more than healthy! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served. Licensed, but very much a family restaurant. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Pay at the door as you leave type of place. We really enjoyed it and will return, likely with friends.

I had eaten and reviews about their burgers. Once the owner responded that they make home made patties we went back! Went 2 weeks ago for breakfast, my friend wanted to try their burgers and since you can order anything on the menu all day--he had a burger and very much enjoyed it! Huge portions and decent price! Very friendly staff that make u feel more than welcome!! We look forward to going back! Good job 'mamas' !!

We stopped here for lunch with our small exotic car group and we were pleasantly surprised. What a great atmosphere and the food was plentiful and excellent !! Dale, the owner, was wonderful. Service was top notch. So glad we found this local favourite restaurant. A real gem !!! We will definitely return. This was a spontaneous visit to Alberta Beach, and stopped for a quick lunch Service was very good portion sizes are very big, even the half salads are mist restaurant full size Comfort food and very Good

Alberta Beach’s hidden gem! Outstanding service. I was so amazed at how efficient their social distancing measures set in place were. The space provided can accommodate a small family for sure. The food is always so good with large portions. I recommend you have the Big Mama Breakfast! If you are camping near by or riding through on your bike, you must stop and have a meal here. Let’s not forget the great staff too !! Thank you !

Out for an afternoon drive and got alitte hungry, stopped in at mama's because it looked inviting and busy "2 good signs " I ordered the mushroom cheese burger OMG it was absolutely delicious and huge !!! no frozen patties here , great seasoning and all the proper condiments and veggies, if your looking for a great place to eat give this place a try , excellent !!!!

My wife and I always enjoy eating here. The food is better than a lot of restaurants in the city. Had the beach burger this time, and it was fantastic! Great work, staff at Mamas' In The Kitchen!!

Good chicken burger with a stale bun. Ruined the burger.Update...I went back a couple of days ago. My partner and I both enjoyed a delightful meal experience.Great staff too. There was only one person waiting tables when we got there and she was hit with an unexpected rush. She handled it beautifully.

The food is amazing, portion sizes are huge, but the service is what was outstanding in my experience. They handled a large group of us (20+) like experts. Accurate and speedy service. One of the people at my table ordered a refill on their beer, the server said they were out....and then asked if the person wanted them to run over to the liquor store to get more! Granted, in a small town it isn't that much of an ask, and the person at my table declined and chose something else, but the offer was definitely appreciated. Very impressed with how above and beyond they were offering to go.

This place is close to my heart! They serve home-made food and its so delicious that you will keep coming back. The chicken noodle soup is damn tasty!

We loved this home-made food restaurant. My kids ate everything and wanted more. Really clean and excellent customers skills.

Nice simple place. Though the service was not the most friendly, it was good and the food was also very good. The gravy in particular was outstanding. Portion sizes are generous. I also loved how they gave us water in mason jars, nice touch. Would recommend.

I always seem to stop at Mama's when I am on a rambling drive. The food is delicious, the burgers are hand made, the fries are crisp, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.Thank you, for being here.

A pleasant surprise. Had the fish and chips which were pretty great. The staff were friendly. The menus had a ton of comfort food options. The only drawback was the beer selection. With so many local options, they should have at least one on the menu.

The menu is great,the servings are plentiful,at a reasonable price ,the service is awesome, all in all the restaurant really lives up to its name..

The service is great, the food is stellar, we drive from Spruce Grove to have a meal here at least once a month during the winter and every weekend in the summer. I cannot compare the quality of food to any other family restaurant, it's that good.

Stop from coming back from lessard lake was hungry and we stopped in. Very good food. The burgers were delicious and the crispy chicken burger my hubby loved. Kids enjoyed there food too. Got half order of nachos were delicious but alot of nachos. If you want nachos dont get anything else lolA good portion and very good. We still stop back again for sure.
